Bruce County Museum marks Remembrance Day with special guest, historian and author Ted Barris, on November 8.
To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Ted Barris will explore the significant contributions of Canadian airmen during the Second World War.
- Canadian airmen served in 47 squadrons.
- 20 pilots were lost in action.
- 12 received the Distinguished Flying Cross for their courage.
Ted Barris will highlight the extraordinary bravery of Canadian flyers who helped defend England during 113 harrowing days in 1940.
