This matchup is no surprise, as these two teams have dominated the Mayo finals for the past 30 years, competing for the T.J. title.
The final will take place at the Ballyhaunis GAA grounds on Sunday at 3 p.m. and is expected to be a intense battle, similar to the 2024 matchup which required extra time to decide the outcome.
The rivalry between Tooreen and Ballyhaunis is one of the most intense in Mayo sport, with the two teams consistently producing closely contested deciders over the past 25 years.
For most of this period, year in, year out they have produced breathtaking deciders with little to separate them at the close of play.
