UC San Diego Defeated by Sacramento State
Sacramento State men's soccer team secured a 2-1 win over UC San Diego on Senior Day.
The Hornets took an early two-goal lead, ultimately closing out the match with a score of 2-1.
"It's always a sad day, senior day," said head coach Michael Linenberger. "They pour everything they have into the program. We are like their fathers when they're away at school, because we are with them every single day.
The emotional match was played at Hornet Field, where seniors Andres Rosales, Lucas Gimenez, Hasan Alsakati, Leonardo Martinez, and Amjot Narang were honored with their families before the game.
