Man Accused of Killing Ex-Girlfriend in Silver Spring
A 47-year-old woman was shot to death while leaving her home in the 1700 block of Imperial Drive, Silver Spring, around 8:23 Sunday morning.
Montgomery County Police received a description of the suspect and his vehicle from witnesses. The alleged shooter was later spotted and attempted to flee, crashing and flipping his car during a police pursuit.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The names of the victim and suspect have not been released.
