Philadelphia Art Museum’s Director Ousted
Sasha Suda, the director and chief executive of the Philadelphia Art Museum (PAM), was removed from her role on November 4.
She had been in the position for three years, following a three-year stint as the head of the National Gallery of Canada.
“As of today, director and chief executive Sasha Suda is no longer with the Philadelphia Art Museum,”
a museum spokesperson stated. The reason for her dismissal was cited as "for cause" in an email, but not further explained.
Board members had complained about a lack of transparency surrounding the institution's recent rebranding.
