St. Clair Shores Voters Approve Police and Fire Millage
Voters in St. Clair Shores approved a police and fire millage expected to generate $10,950,730 in its first year. The funds will support the city’s Police Department and Fire Department operations.

According to unofficial election results, 7,838 residents voted in favor of the millage, while 5,769 voted against it.

“Proposal A” was placed on the ballot following a City Council vote on July 21. The council approved the ballot measure 5-2, with Councilmembers John Caron and Candice Rusie opposing the decision.
