The Weather Team from Alaska’s News Source has declared a First Alert Weather Day as snow is forecasted to move through southcentral Alaska on Thursday.
A low-pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska is bringing wet weather to the southeast, spreading moisture into southcentral Alaska and triggering a November snowfall. Snow will begin by midday and continue into the evening.
The snow event will mostly end by Friday, with the worst of the storm occurring Thursday.
