The Portland Trail Blazers' selection of Yang Hansen is looking like a genius move after his impressive performance in the second preseason game.
The Blazers evened out their preseason record at 1-1 with a 124-123 win against the Sacramento Kings, but the highlight was Hansen's play. He finished with 16 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three blocks in just 17 minutes, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-3 from deep.
Although Hansen still showed some flaws, including speed issues, turnovers, and fouling tendency, his improvement from the first game was notable. In his debut against the Golden State Warriors, he had four points, four rebounds, one assist, and four turnovers in 21 minutes, fouling out. In the win over Sacramento, he had three turnovers and five fouls.
Yang Hansen looked night and day better than his underwhelming debut.
