Young Bleed, the No Limit rapper known for his hit "How Ya Do That," passed away at 51 due to complications from a brain aneurysm. His son, Ty’Gee Ramon, shared the news, confirming that Young Bleed died on Saturday, November 1st, "gaining his wings."
According to his son, Young Bleed had no major health issues prior to this event. The only condition he managed was high blood pressure, for which he took medication. Ramon said,
“My dad was 51 years old when this happened to him. My dad was never in and out of the hospital… This is something you can’t prepare for.”
Young Bleed was widely regarded as one of the most talented rappers to emerge from No Limit Records. His distinctive Louisiana drawl and smooth delivery made his rhymes stand out. His album My Balls and My Word remains one of the most underrated Southern rap albums.
Following his health crisis, Young Bleed's sister, Teedra Johnson-Spears, asked fans and the public for privacy. She urged people not to contact his mother or make any public posts about him, stating:
