Ettore Messina discussed the NBA Europe project in a press conference after the game against Zalgiris.
I personally hope that we can find some common ground
Messina was in great form during the press conference, answering challenging questions and sharing his thoughts on the EuroLeague.
When asked to advise new Zalgiris head coach Tomas Maciulis, Messina said:
If we win a game, we are very smart, if we lose a game, we are very idiots. So, 48 hours ago, I was an idiot. Now, maybe, for 36 hours, I just get the benefit of the doubt.
Messina's comments highlight the ever-changing nature of the EuroLeague.
