Sydney-based designer Andy TT creates human-centred spaces and objects where connection, slowness and sensory experience are at the heart.
His exhibition, Soft, co-curated with designer Calum Hurley, explores how spaces can hold people, rather than merely present to them. It was originally introduced at Melbourne Design Week in 2024.
I grew up watching my parents work with their hands. My mum was a seamstress and my dad a welder. There was a quiet resilience in the way they shaped materials – an intuitive understanding of how things come together.
This upbringing instilled in Andy TT a deep respect for the slow, the human and the handmade.
