New York City Mayoral Race: Mamdani and Cuomo Neck and Neck
A recent poll conducted by Gotham Polling and the city AARP reveals that if Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa drops out, Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani and Independent candidate Andrew Cuomo would be neck and neck in the NYC mayoral race.
According to the poll, Mamdani would lead with 44.6% and Cuomo would follow closely at 40.7%. However, a significant 15% of voters over the age of 50 remain undecided.
In August, Cuomo's support among older voters increased by nine points. Currently, with all three candidates still in the race, Mamdani is leading his opponents by double digits, as reported by the New York Post.
