James Gow, a 28-year-old multiple Hampden league premiership player with Koroit, has been appointed co-coach of Geelong league powerhouse St Joseph's for 2026.

You sort of take bits and pieces and look at their strengths.

Gow will draw upon lessons from some of the best mentors in country football when developing his own coaching style, alongside respected football figure Ron Watt.

Watt has been in charge of the club since 2023 and has a decorated coaching resume, including AFL assistant and development positions with Geelong.
