Pittsburgh native Logan Cooley played a significant role in the Utah Mammoth's 7-4 win over the St. Louis Blues.
Cooley, the 2022 third-overall pick, recorded a natural hat trick in less than five minutes.
- At the 6:07 mark of the first period, Cooley received a pass from Dylan Guenther and fired a one-timer to extend the Mammoth's lead.
- About two minutes later, Cooley scored again on a broken play, sliding the puck between his own legs to spring himself on a half breakaway.

This achievement occurred as the Pittsburgh Penguins were securing a 5-3 victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.
