De Pere, Appleton North Win Boys and Girls Cross Country Sectional
The Division 1 Sectional 3 cross country title was held on Saturday morning.
On the boys' side, Grady Lenn ran a 15:15.4, pacing the field by almost a minute, and leading the De Pere Redbirds to the sectional title.
Appleton North won the girls' sectional, with Eva Busch (18:03.1) and Ava Helmbrecht (18:31.9) finishing first and second, respectively, to aid the team in securing the title.
The WIAA Cross Country State Championships will take place in Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday, November 1.
