Republicans Push for Higher Voter Turnout
The Republican City Committee held its annual fall fundraiser, featuring district attorney candidate Pat Dugan, Commonwealth Court candidate Matt Wolford, and city elections commissioner Seth Bluestein.
Pat Dugan is challenging current DA Larry Krasner, with city committee chairman Vince Fenerty stating,
"We need to fire Larry Krasner."
- Dugan lost the Democratic primary to Krasner.
- The GOP conducted a successful write-in campaign to have Dugan's name on the November ballot.
According to Fenerty,
"We have to get the vote out."The deadline to request a mail ballot is October, and applications can be submitted at https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/OnlineAbsenteeApplication/#/OnlineMailInBegin or at satellite election offices.
