Yorgos Lanthimos Takes a Break from Filmmaking
After releasing another award-worthy film, Yorgos Lanthimos plans to take a break from filmmaking.
“Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we’re certain of right now,”
He admitted to needing "a little break" after the wide release of Bugonia on October 31, despite previously intending to take a breather after Poor Things (2023) and Kinds of Kindness (2024).
Lanthimos told Collider: "It’s a big mistake. I’ve said that before in between the other three, but I’m serious now. I’m going to take a little break.
