Swift Solar, a US solar technology company, has deployed perovskite solar technology as part of a Department of Defence cyber warfare exercise in Virginia.
The company's US-made perovskite tandem solar modules were used in the Cyber Fortress exercise in Virginia Beach, VA, in conjunction with the Rapid Deployment Hybrid MicroGrid (RDHM) system produced by Resilient Energy & Infrastructure.
The exercise showed the potential of high-efficiency perovskite solar products to “support energy resilience for national defence operations.
The Cyber Fortress exercise models a cyberattack on the US grid, and the deployment of Swift Solar's perovskite modules demonstrated their potential for supporting energy resilience in national defence operations.
