A 62-year-old realtor, MaryKay Childress, was arrested on Friday at her home in the Village of Largo on two counts of theft.
Childress, who owns At Ease Properties, was caught on surveillance at the Walmart at Sarasota Plaza on August 2, using the self-checkout aisle to skip scan $57.57 worth of merchandise.
She had also been caught on surveillance on July 29, skip scanning $26.28 in merchandise at the same store.
Surveillance cameras in the parking lot led to her identification, as she got into a gray four-door Jeep with a magnetic real estate sign on the door.
No comment was made by the realtor or her representatives.
