Early Review of "Regretting You"
I had the opportunity to watch "Regretting You" before its official release and I'm left with mixed feelings.
The movie, based on Colleen Hoover's novel, tells the story of Morgan Grant (Allison Williams) and her teenage daughter Clara (Mckenna Grace) as they deal with the aftermath of a devastating accident that reveals a shocking betrayal.
As they confront family secrets and navigate their grief, both women explore complex romantic relationships that challenge their trust and priorities, leading to some moving performances and relatable moments.
The theater lights went down, everyone leaned in, and before long the audience was audibly reacting to the big moments, from gasps to laughter to sniffles.
Despite some impactful scenes, I walked out of the theater feeling uncertain about my overall opinion of the movie.
