Former Cwmbran High School Pupil Shortlisted for Cardiff Business Awards
A former Cwmbran High School pupil, Finlay Aston, has been shortlisted for the Young Business Person of the Year at the Cardiff Business Awards.
Finlay, 18, from Ty Canol, received an email with the news last Thursday and is "still trying to process" the announcement.
After leaving school at 16, Finlay started a carpentry apprenticeship but later switched careers and moved into sales, joining Complete Business Solutions in Cardiff in 2024.

He credits his business studies teacher, Claire Ager, with inspiring his interest in business.
