Two Reasons for Sitting Misa?
Michael Misa is not playing against the New Jersey Devils. The reason is not solely due to the match-up against the Eastern Conference leaders, according to San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky.
Not so much in this case tonight
Warsofsky noted that tonight is not a back-to-back, unlike the previous game in New Jersey. However, he added that
A lot of hockey this week, so got to manage it. The San Jose Sharks have a busy schedule, with four games this week.
- Tuesday vs. the Los Angeles Kings
- Tonight against the Devils
- A back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday
Despite having an impressive eight shots in 10:10 of playing time against Los Angeles, Misa may be sitting out for other reasons. Two possible reasons are:
- Misa struggled in the first period against the Kings, getting stripped of the puck on multiple occasions.
