Eagles Acquire Ex-Pro Bowl CB Jaire Alexander from Ravens

The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander from the Baltimore Ravens in a trade deal.

To address the issue of a revolving door at outside cornerback, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been actively seeking solutions. Recently, he added Alexander to the team, sending a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Ravens and receiving a 2027 seventh-rounder in return.

This move follows the acquisition of Michael Carter II from the New York Jets. Since parting ways with Darius Slay, the Eagles have struggled to find a suitable replacement opposite Quinyon Mitchell.

Alexander, a 2018 first-round pick (18th overall) from Louisville, brings a high level of experience and achievement, including two Pro Bowl selections and two second-team All-Pro nods (2020, 2022). During his seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers, he accumulated 292 combined tackles, 12 interceptions, and 70 passes defended.

No comment from the team or Alexander was provided.
