British police have dismissed speculation that a mass stabbing attack on a London-bound train was terrorism-related.
Two people who were wounded in the attack remain in life-threatening condition. Two men, born in the UK, are in custody at separate police stations after being arrested eight minutes after the first emergency calls were made.
The incident occurred at 7:42 p.m. with passengers reporting scenes of panic and chaos, many running through the carriages and some seeking safety in the toilets.
