The highly anticipated musical special, Wicked: One Wonderful Night, is now available for viewers in the UK. This two-hour event has been called a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience and airs on Saturday at 8pm on Sky Showcase, with streaming available immediately on Sky and NOW.
The special features reunions of leading stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively. They are joined by Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible), Jeff Goldblum (The Wizard of Oz), Ethan Slater (Boq), Bowen Yang (Pfannee), and Marissa Bode (Nessarose).
Director Jon M. Chu and composer Stephen Schwartz will also appear, along with "surprise guests."
Filmed at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, the show promises "electrifying performances" of musical and dance numbers, accompanied by a 37-piece live orchestra. Fans can expect reimagined musical arrangements, exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and special surprises.
