Discover the latest updates and expert insights from League of Legends Esports, presented by Sheep Esports. Kacper “Inspired” Słoma, the renowned Polish jungler, will join LYON in the 2026 LCS season, according to sources close to Sheep Esports.
Inspired has decided not to renew his contract with Flyquest but will continue to compete in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) with the Latin American organization LYON. The two-time LCS MVP received several offers, including opportunities to return to Europe and to stay in North America. LYON, Team Liquid, and Flyquest renewal proposals were among the top contenders.
Ultimately, Inspired accepted LYON’s offer, which was reportedly the highest among all bids. This deal positions him as one of the highest-paid players, if not the highest-paid, in the LCS for 2026.
LYON aims to build a strong, competitive roster for the upcoming season. They have already signed midlaner Kang “Saint” Sung-in and plan to acquire a skilled AD Carry from South Korea to strengthen their lineup.
"They're looking to return to their winning ways, a stark contrast from a disappointing debut in LTA."
This offseason has been fast-paced and significant for LYON as they rebuild their competitive edge.
Inspired's move to LYON marks a major roster shakeup, with the organization betting on strong signings and coaching changes to reclaim championship success in the 2026 LCS season.
