She was a talented musician, playing the tenor saxophone and piano in the school band. She also played in the family band with her Uncle Ray and Auntie Edith, and occasionally accompanied her brother's band, Merv George Band.
Rosalia shared her love of music with her daughter and granddaughter, who both played the saxophone.
