EBU Acquires Exclusive Media Rights for 2026 Paralympic Winter Games
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has been awarded exclusive European media rights for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games by Fondazione Milano Cortina.
At least 25 EBU members will provide coverage across all platforms, excluding the UK and Italy. Coverage will include free-to-air and pay platforms, as well as non-exclusive radio rights.
Notably, Warner Bros. Discovery will broadcast daily event highlights on its linear sports channels, a first for the competition.
Access to the Games will be available via simulcast livestream and video on demand, ensuring widespread coverage.
The award follows a Request for Information (RFI) process led by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
