Scott Sessions served as mayor from 2013-2017. He is now running for mayor again to address the "political nightmare" and "toxic work environment" created by some council members, including his opponent.
I want to try and stop the negative culture that is inside the Hillsdale City Council. That is the reason why I’m running for mayor.
Sessions, 67, has worked as a purchasing manager at Hillsdale Hospital for nearly 20 years. Five city officials have resigned since March, including key positions such as city engineer and airport manager.
