Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is reportedly among the leading candidates to take over at Celtic following Brendan Rodgers’ resignation.
Rodgers, 52, shockingly quit on Monday (October 27), ending a remarkably successful second stint in charge of Celtic. The Glaswegian giants lost 3-1 to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts in his last game in charge.
Celtic are stepping up their search for a new manager, and according to Sky Sports, Ipswich boss McKenna, 39, is among the leading candidates. McKenna has been a revelation at Ipswich, taking them from League One to the Premier League before ultimately being relegated back to the Championship last season.
