Winnipeg Councillor Pushes for Stronger Heritage Policies
Brian Mayes is calling for stronger heritage and adaptive reuse policies to reduce demolitions and meet climate goals.

Mayes introduced a motion at the Riel Community Committee meeting to develop strategies for reusing existing structures, including modern and mid-20th-century buildings, to reduce landfill waste and meet climate goals.
