The author's Dacia Duster, BP73 YWJ, is up for sale, proving his dad's bet correct that he wouldn't keep it for a year.
The Duster was loved for its value and "Tonka toy looks", but the author ultimately preferred a performance car for daily use.
I didn’t want to give up having a performance car for a daily.
Despite this, the Duster has been a practical choice, saving the author money on skip hire and serving well for Sunday Service and Cotswold B-road duties.
