UNISON Celebrates Victory Against Outsourcing
UNISON General Secretary Christina McAnea welcomed members from the south west to UNISON Centre to celebrate a major campaigning victory against outsourcing.
Members from Dorset, working across three NHS trusts, prevented the introduction of a subco that would have affected 1,700 facilities staff, including their terms and conditions, pensions, and employment status.

This win is significant for porters, caterers, housekeepers, and other NHS facilities staff. UNISON has led national opposition to subcos since 2017.
