In Sandton, learners mixed strategy, speed, and creativity to become winners of the maths competition.
Peregrine Capital’s offices in Sandton buzzed with excitement on October 31 as 18 bright young finalists gathered for the 24SumMore Maths Competition Finals.
The event capped off a pilot programme involving 54 primary schools across Gauteng, all united by one goal: to make maths enjoyable, engaging, and confidence-building for learners.
“We are bringing the fun back into maths.”
Jacques Conradie, CEO of Peregrine Capital and a former national maths champion, said this about the competition, which rewards quick thinking, strategy, and mental agility.
