In New York’s concrete jungle, the No. 9 Harvard football team proved its strength by defeating the Columbia Lions 31-14 on Friday night, securing an 8-0 record overall and 5-0 in the Ivy League.
"This week was a challenging week, short week. A lot of people telling us how great we are in the media and to get the win and get out of here and play how we did in the first half, I'm just relieved and excited to get to the next one," said Head Coach Andrew Aurich.
With this decisive victory, Harvard maintained its lead in the Ivy League and achieved its best season start since 2015.
Harvard extended its unbeaten streak to eight games with a commanding win over Columbia, highlighted by strong performances from Craig, Gilmartin, and Bascon.
