India: Mass Arrests of Muslims Over 'I Love Muhammad' Campaign
A fact-finding report by the Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) has raised concerns over police action and targeting of Muslims in Bareilly, northern India, after a peaceful demonstration in support of the Prophet Muhammad.
The report, released on October 10, reveals that 4,505 Muslims across India have been booked and at least 265 arrested, including 89 in Bareilly alone, as of October 7.
