The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts a record increase in liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity by 2030, transforming gas market dynamics.
According to the IEA's "Gas 2025" medium-term outlook report, 300 billion cubic meters per year of LNG export capacity will be added by 2030, mainly in the United States and Qatar.
Barring unexpected disruptions, this is forecast to result in lower prices in the years ahead and spur higher demand.
