John Ferretti Wins Hempstead Supervisor Race
Incumbent Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti has declared victory over Democratic candidate Joseph Scianablo.
Ten supervisor seats were up for election across Long Island, along with numerous council positions and a mayoral post.

Nassau Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. announced the party's sweep at the Coral House in Baldwin.
- In North Hempstead, Supervisor Jennifer DeSena declared victory.
- In Oyster Bay, Supervisor Joseph Saladino was reelected.
Nassau Republicans retained all three supervisor seats in the county.
