Tragedy In Ondo As Truck Crushes 8 To Death
A tragic incident occurred in Akungba-Akoko, Akoko South-West Local Government area of Ondo State, on Wednesday evening.
A trailer loaded with cement allegedly lost control and rammed into some shops, resulting in the death of at least 8 people.
According to an eyewitness,
the trailer was coming from up, and we couldn’t say if the barricades were opened because some people said the trailer destroyed the barricade.
The accident happened near the popular Holy Trinity Church and has thrown the university community into mourning.
The cause of the accident was reportedly due to the trailer losing its brakes.
